Question: Learning a new language requires a transformation of self and the acquisition of new identities. Discuss. Answer: Strong language abilities can be demonstrated as an asset of human life which aids to promote effective communication skills among the different persons from different regions. Language is one of the most vital parts of the life of human being. Without any language, nobody could speak with each other in the previous era of human society. The existence of language helps the social persons to communicate with each other efficiently. They can express their thought and point of view with the help of language. So, language is the most important factor within the society for human conversation which helps to hold the community together. So, new language learning is helpful for anyone to communicate in the different part and continent throughout the world. Besides the help in the communication process, if people can find interests in learning a new language of any region, he or she can gain knowledge about the cultures and peoples of those places (Mencken, 2013). So, the learning of a new l anguage helps the people to find interests among the new people from different cultures. They gain interest on these things like different cultures, new people and their activities or occupation, etc. and know different things about them. When people has completed his or her learning process, then he or she can speak with different persons of the specific region that are why the person has learnt the new language. They can achieve some new things from that particular place where the recently known language is used by the common people. Moreover, the person may feel the pleasure to converse in such a new region or place. He or she can know about themselves as well as he or she can express his or her point of view with them very easily (Baugh and Cable, 2008). So, everyone should realise the importance of language and new language learning is not bad. Learning a new language may be very effective in some time when the speakers fall into serious problems and need some help or medical t reatment. In this serious case, the person who can speak for that region, he or she can serve help to those help seekers in such a critical condition. So, the language has significant power always everywhere and learning more than one language can be effective in some difficulties. The learning ability of new language helps in difficulties to sort out or resolve them (VanPatten, 2011). The psychologists have researched on the benefits and opportunity of learning the new language to find out its effectiveness. Speaking in more than one language is a significant asset for each and every person in the world to the intellectual process that have been found by psychological studies. The brain and mind of bilingual persons function in a different way than the one particular language speakers. This special feature and function of the human brain help to provide several mental opportunities and benefits. Different cognitive advantages are there in learning a new language which offers proven helps for memory, concentration and intelligence (Martinich and Sosa, 2013). Learning a new language also helps to reduce the risks of various diseases such as Alzheimer and dementia. Any language is complex in nature, so learning a new language can be much tough for anyone. The learners of any new language have to give their best effort in learning. Learning or speaking a new language gives human brain a good exercise or workout which helps the brain to develop stronger than the previous (Me?tais et al., 2013). The human brain can catch many things to improve the capability of human beings. Human brains or intellect operate several human actions and can also catch the learning ability to speak in any new language rather than mother tongue (Singleton and Ryan, 2004). Learning a new language can be hard for some people. They think that new language learning is a tough process for them. But, they are the one who becomes afraid before learning the new one. Some people becomes afraid just to hear about learning the new language (Fernndez Dobao, 2012). There are several explanations about the fear of people in learning a new language. Someone finds out that the grammar of the new language is very hard for them. So, they thought learning a new language is very tough for them. Before learning any language, anybody should learn the grammar of that particular language. So, if anyone finds that the grammar of a new language is too tough for them to learn, the person cannot learn it perfectly. The person may lose his interest in that particular language which he has to learn, or he has an intention of learning. Then the person cannot learn that language properly. Learning a new language has a special tactic through which the people can learn it efficiently. Different techniques are there for the learning process to a new language. The most important thing for learning is to dedicate oneself in the language completely; then the person can learn something about the new language. Complete dedication is the most important thing for learning a new language. One who is interested in learning and speaking in a new language, he or she should immerse himself or herself at first to learn the new language completely. Several ways or techniques are there to learn the language efficiently and successfully. At first, he should connect himself with a native speaker of that specific language. The inborn speaker of that language can teach him the language properly (Zhao and Bitchener, 2007). Another way is very helpful and effective for the new learners that are to communicate in that language. If the person cannot do that in the first attempt, then he or she has to attempt continuously to be successful in learning the new one. The person should not l ose his hope in learning. He should always attempt to learn the new language seriously. All the process can be successful if the person can transform and motivate himself for learning. He or she can get motivation and other assistances from the teacher or the guide of the new language teacher, but he has to be stick to in his point. He has to be affirmed in his position as he or she can learn the language properly. The person who is interested to learn the new language should study on that every day as their practice can be continued on a regular basis (Gablasova, Brezina and McEnery, 2017). The interested persons should carry the dictionary which is written and related to that particular language at all times as they can get help from the dictionary as per their requirements. The person should listen, watch, write and read the particular language which he or she has to learn or he has interest on. The best way for learning a new language is to visit the region or country where the particular chosen language converses. If the person can afford the expenses in visiting another place for learning the purpose, it will be an effective method for learning. The interested person can learn completely that language by visiting that place where the language is spoken most of the places of that country. There are various learning processes to learn the new language carefully, but the person who is interested in learning has to dedicate himself. He or she has to immerse in the language as they can transform himself or herself for the purpose of learning as they can learn very well (Papi and Teimouri, 2014). The interested persons can learn the new language as same as his mother tongue. Through the learning period, he or she can know himself or herself from different perspectives and can establish the acquisition of new identities. References Baugh, A. and Cable, T.
